About Hindu Mandir

Hindu Mandir was established in 1998 as a religious, non-profit charitable organization to serve the spiritual and cultural needs of the Indo-Canadian Hindu community in Montreal and the surrounding West Island area. Its founding purpose was to create a sacred temple and community centre where people who follow Hindu traditions and beliefs could come together for worship, rituals, ceremonies, and social activities.

While the temple is a spiritual sanctuary for Hindu devotees, we warmly welcome individuals of all faiths who are interested in learning about or experiencing Hindu traditions.
