About Hindu Mandir

Hindu Mandir was established in 1990 as a religious, non-profit charitable organization to serve the spiritual and cultural needs of the Indo-Canadian Hindu community in Montreal and the surrounding West Island area. Its founding purpose was to create a sacred temple and community centre where people who follow Hindu traditions and beliefs could come together for worship, rituals, ceremonies, and social activities.

While the temple is a spiritual sanctuary for Hindu devotees, we warmly welcome individuals of all faiths who are interested in learning about or experiencing Hindu traditions. Whether you visit to take part in religious rituals or simply to explore and learn, you’ll find a community that values diversity, inclusivity, and mutual respect. Come and visit Hindu Mandir Montreal to be part of our vibrant and welcoming community, and experience the warmth, joy, and spiritual enrichment that make our temple a meaningful place for all.
